The Ark:: Instance I. Pt. 3

Zajeyu stares at the large Mecha in front of him, and begins to break down its working.(Computer use 19-1).As he does this he try to notice any of its weak points to try and bring it down.(Spot 6+1). Zajeyu then proceeds to take cover behind his seat and treat his wound(Constitution+1d8(2+2))

Grexas panics for a moment thinking one of the others got hit. He gathers himself, we can deal with it later. He looks ahead noticing the mecha. Thinking quickly, theres bound to be more of The Guard coming behind the mecha. Grexas decides to turn and drive past the mech. rolled 15+2=17. He swerves around the mech, and turns left at the first street. Hoping the mecha will prove enough of a distraction for the humvee. He then proceeds toward the gate out of town. reaction 20+2=22

The streets are a maze of ruins, shacks and empty lots overgrown with weeds. Snow falls in renewed strength. The buggy skids and regains control before turning the corner. The Law enforcement Mech unit stops just as it clears the corner and an amplified authoritarian voice can be heard “STOP, THIS IS THE ST. GEORGE’S LAW ENFORCEMENT GUARDS, YOU ARE TO STEP DOWN THE VEHICLE AND LAY DOWN ON THE GROUND”. The hummer accelerates, and the .50 caliber Brown machine gun starts blasting away at the mechanical unit. The mech holds up one of its massive hands to cover some of the damage, but sparks fly out of the torso, then with a quick movement, the unit rises up the other arm and starts a barrage of bullets from its Gatling gun on the hummer. The companions on the buggy can hear shouted orders, screams of pain, a crash and a small explosion behind them and also, behind the vehicle, both motorcycles skid to a stop and start speeding again, the two sniper bikers lift up .45 caliber automatic pistols and shoot at the buggy’s tires. The shots miss the tires, instead, one of the shots impacts a part of the engine of the vehicle, located on the back behind the back seats, and the thing starts to smoke, maybe it can be repaired. The other shot impacts on the snow on the sides of the buggy. The sound of the aircraft diminishes s the buggy speeds down the rubble littered street. Ahead of him, a collapsed wall with a huge window blocks part of the street, and an old lady pushing and old shopping cart with garbage and a broken TV set on it, blocks the other part of the street, leaving the driver few choices. The sound of the bikes is getting closer and the accelerator on the buggy is not responding as good as it was

Zajeyu enters the .50 cal gunning space and the looks for something behind him to shoot down(spot 7+1). But couldnt make anything of use out due to the high speed. He then aims for one of the Bikers behind him but as he takes his aim Graxas hits a bump ruining Zajeyus aim making him miss the enemy(ranged modfier1+3). He then begins to heal Nosko after he teals Graxas to shut up about stealing his job.(3+1). He then try to navigate around the rubble blocking the path. (navigate 4-1)

Grexas slams on the brakes hoping to have the bikers slam into the buggy. rolled 11+3=14. One biker hits the buggy the other swerves in front of the buggy. Grexas takes aim and fires at the biker in front of him. 7+2 =9. and misses. He then hits the gas and makes a hard right at the corner.

The buggy makes an abrupt stop as Grexas tries to outmaneuver the bikers in to smahing against the vehicle. One of the sniper’s bikes gets smashed against the back of the car, the driver jumps off in time and grabs the back of the metal frames of the car. The other biker dodges the car, goes around it and breaks in front of them, raising his gun. He hears Grexas’ shot go past his ear and shoots back (9+6=15 to hit. 4damage) The shot hits Grexas, and he starts to bleed badly. Zajeyu, trying to help, is unaware when the biker on the back of the buggy jumps on him trying to take him down on a chokehold and ripping a leather satchel he wears. Zajeyu makes quick work of the grapple attempt, and repels the biker’s attack; then Zajeyu notices the thug’s intent on taking the satchel from him and throws him out of the buggy. The man stands up and takes off his helmet. "Look boys”, he says, “My partner there and I can shoot wings off flies, we only want what’s in that bag. Give it to us, and no harm will come to you, we’ll speak to the cap’n about it. We’ll even throw in a couple of hundred coins, aluminum and iron, what say you?” He glances around nervously at the corner from where you all came, from where sounds of battle can still be heard. The aircraft sound gets closer. Grexas notices that the car is having trouble passing gasoline for some reason, and it threatens to shut off. The other driver keeps the gun aimed at the car.

Zajeyu looks around for somewhere he can run too(Spot 9+2). He notices a ramp straight ahead. He approaches it realizing that wth great effort he may be able to climb it... After taking his first step he realizes that it's much slipperier than he first anticipated. Knowing he has very few options he begins to climb regardless of the peril he may be putting himself in(Climb 10+4),after climbing half of the ramp he notices that it becomes even more dangerous. Regardless Zajeyu attempts to climb it(10+4). After reaching the top he takes a jump(Jump 19+4) to reach the adjacent ledge, easly clearing it and landing safely on the other side.
Knowing his rifle hs a decent range he takes aim at the Biker who was hit by Graxas, but misses due to the darkness and snow.

Grexas holsters his pistol and climbs out of the buggy with his hands up. He walks a little closer to the man next to the buggy. "So, ummm. He had the sphere and well, I just met that guy. So can I like give up and go home?" rolled 18-1=17. Noticing the biker not buying it Grexas trys to come up with a new plan. Grexas drops to all fours and sprints at the rider in front of the buggy, and tackles him. He pins the rider down and yanks the desert eagle from his hand. rolled 15+2=17 grapple and 15+2=17 reflex save.

The biker that got thrown out of the buggy watches with amazement how this man suddenly gets a flash of an idea in his eyes, then in a snap he sees him firing from a ledge above. He raises his gun to put him down for good. (4+6=10, no hit) He then runs to the ramp and climbs it up (19+1= 20), he reaches the top in one movement and jumps to the ledge Zajeyu is in, in an attempt to throw him off the building (5+2) the sniper jumps short, then grabs the ledge in an amazing feat of reflex (15´+9=24) and hangs there, trying to climb up.
The biker being grappled by Grexas kicks up to his tighs (5+2) but Grexas manages to control the man’s movements. “You should have accepted, lads, now the cap’n is gonna have a blast goin’ after your guts. She uses them for hair ornaments, you see.”
From behind, the sounds of battle are waning, and a searchlight from the sky starts to run up the street the companions are in. The sound of the aircraft become suddenly loud.
The old lady with the shopping cart who was watching the fight with interest while munching on an old piece of bread now starts to run away, and in a flash, she disappears in a crack on the building on the right side of the street, across from Zajeyu. “Help me out my laddie… please” begs the sniper hanging from the ledge at Zajeyu.

After seeing his assailant chase him up the ramp and miss the jump, Zajeyu takes the chance to remove another guy. He approaches him with Tonfa in hand and swings with all his, might striking the man across his jaw(Melee 8+5) (Damage 1+4). The man drops from the ledge landing and breaking his neck and back, his screams begin to echo through the city.
Turning around Zajeyu continues on his original path, towards the old hallway, after climbing through the broken window he takes a few steps before the old wooden floor gives way beneath his feet. shocked by the unexpected collapse Zajeyu fails to react(reflex save 9+2), he falls down to the floor below, which like the previous floor had rotten. Zajeyu falls further to the next floor only then is his descend stopped(Damage 6+1).
as he screams in pain from the broken bones he received from the fall, he begins to thinking that this is gonna get him nowhere so he musters up as much strength he can and begins to drag his broken body through out what seems to the plumbing of an ancient building. As zajeyu moves further the overpowering smell of waste and garbage make him begin to throw up.


Grexas looks down at the rider he has pinned down. "I'm sorry it had to come to this. I was trying to get away without doing anymore damage." Grexas gives him a toothy grin as he presses the gun to his temple. "Though you do deserve this you racist." Grexas pulls the trigger 19+2=21 to hit 3+7=10 damage. Grexas stands and turns to look at the airship he tosses the gun to the side and walks over to the buggy. He pulls Nosko out of the buggy and heads over to the building Zajeyu fell through.
Walking through the surprisingly still intact front door, Grexas easily notices the gaping hole Zajeyu left from his fall. He quickly found the stairs and easily found Zajeyu not too far from the rubble from the floors. "So, how was that fall? Enjoy yourself?" Grexas says as he sets Nosko down in the corner.
Grexas crouches down and attempts to treat the wounds of his comrades. Zajeyu: 6+11=17 treat roll 5+11=16 hp Nosko: 15+11=26 treat roll 3+11=14 hp
He then turns his attention to himself "Lets hope i can do this." 18+11=29 treat roll 1+11=12 hp
